The Plugs/

That's all folks

We were not young.
We didn't wear studded belts on low-slung jeans.
We didn't try to sound like Arctic Monkeys.
We were four musos from Oxford.
We wrote clever, complex music for ourselves.
We didn't write pop songs.
We did serve up the occasional indulgent slice of pop curiosity.
And we still give it all away for free.

We were a lot like Elbow without actually sounding anything like Elbow.
We liked close harmonies and Sus-4 chords.
We were more Supertramp than The Feeling.
We were a bastard love child of Tool and Air.
We had been compared to Eels and Pink Floyd.
We were epic intelligent power prog.
And we never had a bass player.
